Encouraged by the soft tonal palette of the artist Pierre Auguste Renoir, this third doll in a series inspired by great artists seems to belong in the Louvre, iteself. Barbie doll's glamorous gown is truly a masterpiece of chiffon in periwinkle blues, powdery purples and pinks - with soft patterns of yellow accents. The necklace of her bodice features delicate beading accented with purple-pink flowers. Her skirt is flipped up on one side, revealing an under-layer of tulle and chiffon with embellishments of blue beads, sequins, and flowers. A beautiful blue chiffon bow decorates the opposite side of the skirt, and she wears matching sheer gloves. Barbie artfully brings everything together by wearing her brown hair in an elegant up-do accented with flowers, faux pearl drop earrings, a black faux pearl drop choker, and periwinkle t-strap sandals.
